Mac Collins, Committee Chairman
The Transportation Committee is responsible for looking at issues concerning transportation within Butts County and that surrounding us that may affect our quality growth potential. Industrial growth can also fuel transportation as these entities must be served by a complex network of transportation vehicles. Butts County's unique location make us a sound candidate for a regional airport and Partners feels this could be an economic engine that could help stabilize the tax base and open other opportunities for business location and relocation within Butts County. Mac Collins chairs this committee. He brings five terms in the United States Congress and a lifetime of experience in the transportation industry as owner of Collins Trucking to the table in heading this committee.
